One
of our Year 6 pupils, who moved to Hemsworth High School in September,
has been developing her kick boxing skills for less than one year
and she has already proven to be the best. Not only is she English
Champion but she is now also the British Champion for her age and
weight. She is totally dedicated to the sport and works hard training
and practising her moves. She recently demonstrated her skills during
a key stage 2 assembly. What is so inspiring about Britney’s
success is the modest way that she tells us about her achievements.
In a short interview with Mr Reed she explained, “This is
something that I really enjoy and I have set my goal on becoming
champion of the world. I hope to be participating in Cadiz, Spain
in the Autumn and ultimately in Las Vegas!”
