Welcome to Brierley School and to Class Donaldson!
We hope you have had a fantastic Easter!
Our topic for Summer 1 is Kings and Queens. Children learn about our monarch, King Charles III. They will become familiar with some key features of our monarchy including people in the Royal Family, special places and traditions. Children will begin to understand that the title of King or Queen is passed down through the Royal Family.
Children will then learn about royal building such as Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle as well as recognise the Royal Standard flag.
