Headteacher Statement
Governance at Brierley Community Primary School
As Headteacher at Brierley, I am proud to lead a school supported by a dedicated staff team and a knowledgeable, committed Board of Governors. Together, we share a collective responsibility for the success and wellbeing of every child in our community.
Our Governors play a vital and active role in school life, providing both strategic oversight and robust challenge. They are engaged in monitoring, analysing and evaluating our policies, practices and outcomes to ensure the highest standards are maintained across all areas of school life.
We are equally fortunate to benefit from the continued support of our parents and local community, whose engagement and partnership are integral to everything we strive to achieve at Brierley.
Declarations of interest for all Governors are held on file at the school and are available upon request.
