Headteacher's Welcome

As Head Teacher of Brierley CE Primary School, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school website.

I hope you enjoy exploring the site and come away with a real sense of what makes our school so special. Our door is always open, so please do come and visit us  - we would love to show you around.

We are incredibly proud of the children in our school and the wider community we serve.

Ours is a happy and caring school, rooted in the belief that, as one family, God guides us in all we do. Our committed staff, governors and parents work together in community, sharing a common aim for excellence and positivity, and striving to achieve the best possible outcome for every single child through a rich and varied curriculum.

We aim to equip children with the skills and knowledge not just to achieve, but to truly excel. We hold high expectations of our pupils and want each and every one of them to flourish, nurturing hope, resilience and aspiration in all they do. Together, we work to build self-esteem and self-confidence, encouraging children to believe in themselves and feel brave enough to 'have a go' - supported by love and forgiveness at every step.

As a church school, our Christian vision and values lie at the very heart of everything we do. We encourage our pupils to embrace these values, alongside a genuine respect for the many other cultures and religions within our society.
