Durin Autumn 2 the children will be studying The British Empire. There will be a focus on global trade, The Mughal Empire/East India Company, The Seven Years War and will answer the question What motivated Britain to build an Empire?

Autumn 1

As Historians the children will study Baghdad AD900.

They will focus on: 

  • The Rise of Islam
  • Baghdad: A City of Peace.
  • Baghdad: Building a City.
  • Baghdad: A Centre for Learning in the Islamic Golden Age
  • The Mongol attack on Baghdad and the Regional Powers
